第二英语怎么说 “第二”的英文翻译是：second ， 一般它是一个序数词 ， 但second作名词时还有另外一个意思是“秒” ， 一秒两秒可以简写成1s ， 2s ， 这里的“s”就是second的简写 。
second 有形容词性 ， 意思为“第二的 ， 次要的”；也有副词性 ， 意思为“第二 ， 其次” 。 有时为了不让second有歧义 ， 如果second在句子开头 ， 一般使用“secondly”表示副词形式的“其次” ， 如果second在句子中 ， 则使用“the second”来表示“第二”这个序数词 。

1949年10月1日—写法： Oct..1, 1949. 读做：Oct. (the ) first, nineteen forty-nine.
2009年3月28日—写法： March 27, 2009. 读作： March, (the) twenty-seventh, two thousand and nine.
2、表示分数时 ，  分子用基数词 ， 分母用序数词；如果分子大于1 ， 分母要用复数 。

1/2: one-second 3/4 three-fourths, 2/5 two-fifths.

记口诀： 分子基 ， 分母序 。 分子大于1 ，  分母加 s.
